WELL MET, MY DEAR.

Here are some things you ought to expect on this blog:

• MY FACE - shameless self-portraits and stylistic photographs.
• ART - photography, dooodles, paintings, sketches on occasion.
• WRITING ~ Poetry, prose, songs. My story continues.
• HOCKEY ~ I don’t fangirl very often, but the St. Louis Blues are my weakness, so it’s inevitable that I post about them pretty often, as well as select other players/teams which depend on the day. It is sometimes rational posting and sometimes not very. Cardinals baseball and Crimson Tide football also show up sporadically, but not too often.
• DEEP THOUGHTS ~ These may be in the form of journal entries or long text posts. Or even short text posts. I did a 100 Secrets challenge once.
• EMOTIONS ~ I’m trying to become a better person and to hate myself less. This is a recovery-positive blog. But sometimes I feel sad and I post about it. Sometimes I hate myself anyway and I need somewhere to vent. Sometimes I’m overflowing with joy.
• MUSIC! ~ A few times a month I’ll post a video on youtube, typically a cover. Additionally, I like to post audio of new bands I’m discovering or whatever song I’m currently loving or trying to get out of my head. A couple of my favorite bands are Switchfoot, Anberlin, Three Days Grace, The Fray, and The Classic Crime, but I have a wide range of music that I love and I’m pretty proud of my taste in music. I also plan to go to college to be a music therapist, so occasionally music therapy will crop up.
• LIFE LIVEBLOGGING ~ Sometimes I whine and it’s not even eloquent or anything. Sometimes I try to be funny (often failing). I also talk about school, college, tests, my family, the average, mundane hullaballoo. You’re not getting links for that.
• BOOKS and other nerdy things - thoughts on literature and movies and a little television. Sometimes a quote or two.
• GOD THINGS ~ It should be the foremost, but it isn’t always here on Tumblr. I wither like the grass in August, but He will not forsake me. Even when He does not appear on my internet life, He is always there. If I am posting about Him, it is likely a random thought or a Bible verse or even a letter or prayer request. I also post about my church and youth group because they’re a big part of my life.

Mainly, this is the internet journal of a girl trying to find her way in this place we call home.
